Some McMinnville/Warren County, Tenn., landscaping nurseries open to the public ...

The area of Tennessee surrounding McMinnville and Warren County has long been known as “the nursery capital of the world.”  Our Middle Tennessee Nursery Association folks prefer to call it “The Cradle of the Plant Kingdom.”  Whatever you call it, there are lots of nurseries here.  Being surrounding by all these wonderful sources for prime landscaping plants has helped make Falcon Rest’s gardens a reality. 

Often our visitors ask us what is the best place to shop for nursery stock.  Many of our area nurseries are strictly wholesale and just ship stock by semi-truck all over the country.  Since we’ve yet to find a comprehensive list of nurseries that are open to the public, we’ve complied a partial list of some we know about.  Quite a few others have sold or donated plants to Falcon Rest’s gardens, and some may be willing to work with large volume retail customers as well.
