Extend your visit to McMinnville with a stay at Falcon Manor Bed & Breakfast, the four bed and breakfast style guest suites on the grounds of Falcon Rest Mansion.
Clay Faulkner named his mansion “Falcon Rest,” and “restful” is an appropriate description of Falcon Manor, the overnight accommodations on the mansion’s grounds. All the suites are located close enough to Falcon Rest’s dining, shopping and tour facilities for convenience, but far enough away from those areas and from each other to allow an extra degree of privacy.
Though in a peaceful country setting, Falcon Manor is just minutes from downtown McMinnville. It’s near Cumberland Caverns and Rock Island and Fall Creek Falls State Parks.
In fact, Falcon Manor Bed & Breakfast’s central location between Nashville, Chattanooga and Knoxville makes it an ideal base for any Middle Tennessee vacation.
Guest rooms are available seven nights a week, though mansion tours are only available by appointment Mondays and Tuesdays.

Rent the Manager’s Suite or the Cottage Suite separately, or reserve the entire Cottage for families, girlfriends getaways, or for couples traveling together.
If you plan for friends or family visit your guest room during your stay, please request the Manager’s Suite or the Cottage Suite.
The Honeymoon Suite and the Carriage House Room are located within the mansion’s gardens, which are not open to the general public.
Of course, overnight guests in all the rooms and visitors here for the guided mansion tour are encouraged to enjoy the gardens during their stay or after their tour.

Frequently asked questions about guest rooms
Guest rooms ARE NOT inside the mansion. They are in other buildings on the grounds. For security reasons, the mansion itself is not open for visitors to wander through on their own. Hour-long guided tours are offered to the general public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday thru Sunday. Overnight guests can make an appointment for a tour on Monday or Tuesday as well. While mansion tours are not included in room rates, most guests enjoy taking the tour at some time during their stay. Standard admission fees apply.
You can submit the form above to check availability. We will respond as soon as possible, by phone or e-mail as you prefer, to confirm. We do not offer automatic online bookings at this time, as we prefer to communicate directly with prospective guests.
Check-in is any time from 3 to 7 pm, Central time. If you will arrive after the Visitor Center closes at 5 pm, or will arrive earlier or later than standard check-in times, please call to let us know when to look for you. Check-out time is 11 am.
The Carriage House Room is on ground level and wheelchair accessible. Other rooms are on the first floor up a few steps.
We cannot accommodate pets in guest rooms, but there are some good kennels nearby. Smoking is not allowed inside the buildings. Ashtrays are provided near rocking chairs on the verandas.
